The yield on the Greek 10-year bond rises to 2.3%

The Greek 10-year Greek bond marks a new rise, following the general upward trend throughout the eurozone, which shows that low interest rates are on their way out.

The performance of the Greek 10-year-bond exceeded 2% at the end of last week (after the placement of Christine Lagarde) and today, Monday, reaches 2.30%, which is a high of almost 22 months (April 2020).

A corresponding increase is recorded in the yield of the Greek 5-year bond, which amounts to 1.41%.

The yield of the 10-year German bond was two basis points higher, at 0.22% and four basis points higher than the corresponding French, at 0.68%. The yield of the 10-year Spanish bond is up six points, at 1.11%.

At the same time, borrowing costs for Italy also rose, with the yield of the 10-year Italian rising by 10 basis points, to 1.85%.
