The new digital service for social security and pension fund EFKA , “EFKA Digital Room”, is being presented today, Wednesday (13/7). The new e service will help speed up the issuance of pensions with less hassle.
As Labor Minister Kostis Hatzidakis said, speaking on SKAI radio, the implementation of the new service will start a day after its public unveiling, Thursday (14/7).
Prospective retirees will be able to monitor the status of their pension application from their home computer, book an appointment and talk to their file manager through the online service.
According to Mr. Hatzidakis, prospective retirees will be able to submit any documents missing from their file through the service and the matter will be settled electronically.
“This is a revolution not only for EFKA, but also for the entire public sector,” emphasized the Minister of Labor.
