The Sani/Ikos Group has announced the seventh addition to the luxury all-inclusive Ikos Resorts, launching the new Ikos Porto Petro in Majorca, Spain, which will open its doors in June 2023.
The Ikos Resorts brand continues its dynamic growth in iconic destinations in Greece and Spain, with Ikos Porto Petro being the group’s second resort in the Iberian Peninsula, following Ikos Andalusia in Marbella-Estepona which opened in May of 2021.
It is also the group’s second planned launch for 2023, following Ikos Odisia in Corfu which opens on May 19, as stated in a related announcement.
319 luxurious rooms, suites and bungalows
Just 50 minutes from Mallorca Airport, the new Ikos Porto Petro stretches along the southeast coast of Mallorca, next to the unique natural beauty of Montrago Park, Porto Petro Marina and the fishing village of the same name, offering access to one of the most beautiful areas Island’s. The highly aesthetic and ‘green’ architecture resort includes 319 luxurious rooms, suites and bungalows, which are designed to meet the requirements of every type of visitor, from couples to large families, while they include terraces, gardens and private pools with impressive views of the Mediterranean.
In 2024 Ikos Porto Petro is planned to expand further, adding to its guests’ options three and four bedroom suites with private pool, built on the hills of Porto Petro above the sea.
All-inclusive luxury vacation
Reinforcing the award-winning all-inclusive model of luxury holidays, the new Sani/Ikos Group five-star hotel complex will offer high-quality hospitality, with menus from Michelin-starred chefs, wine lists curated by acclaimed sommeliers, 24-hour room service, luxurious spa facilities , special babysitting and kids club services for families, creatively occupying the little guests.
Dine Out Service
Ikos Porto Petro has state-of-the-art sports facilities, including five outdoor and indoor heated swimming pools for adults and children, five à la carte restaurants, as well as the new concept, Food Hall, with suggestions from local and international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet and à la carte options.
In addition, guests will be able to choose – at no extra charge – the Resort’s Dine Out service, trying restaurants in the city, as part of the Local Discovery program to support local society and production. Promoting sustainable tourism and wellness, Ikos Porto Petro, through the Local Drive Adventure service and the group’s new partnership with Tesla, will enable guests to explore – without burdening the environment with their travel – the city of Mallorca and the surrounding areas, such as the picturesque Castel d’Alaro, the wetlands of Parque de S’Albufera, the Caves de Genova in Palma and del Draque in Porto Cristo.
