Poland-based LPP group, the biggest “fast fashion” retailer in the east European country, will open its first outlet in Greece in early 2023, and specifically a Sinsay store in the Cretan city of Irakleio.
LLP’s commercial brands – Reserved, Sinsay, Cropp, House and Mohito – are already active online in the Greek market.
The retail group, often described as “Poland’s Zara”, will debut with the Sinsay brand in larger Greek cities, with the rest of the brand names eyeing prospects for 2024.
The announcement comes after Pepco, a major toy and home goods retailer also based in Poland, opened four outlets in Greece recently.
LLP Greece, the parent company’s subsidiary, was established last June, with an initial capital investment of one million euros.
The subsidiary’s controller will be Slawomir Loboda, one of four vice-presidents on LLP Group’s board of directors.
Local retail executive Sotiris Sigalas has been appointed as the general manager of the Greek subsidiary.
