New confirmed instances of Covid-19 in Greece on Wednesday reached 2,422, six of which were detected in border entry points.
The 𝑅𝑡 index in the country, based on the new infections, is estimated at 0.94.
Related deaths over the previous 24-hour period were 37, bringing the death toll since the advent of the pandemic to 14,311. Of the victims, 95.4 percent suffered from an underlying condition or were above the age of 70. The average age of the victims is 78.
Meanwhile, the number of intubated patients suffering from acute Covid-19 symptoms were 364, with the average age being 64.
Of the latter, 81 percent suffer from an underlying condition or are above the age of 70.
