The President of GENOP PPC, George Adamidis, referred to the increase in electricity tariffs, speaking to the OT.gr.
Asked about the price increases in electricity, Mr. Adamidis stressed that it was something we expected, as the Target model was launched in the country, i.e. the single wholesale market model that is applied in all European Union countries.
Mr. Adamidis expressed his fear that an energy cartel will be created and added that the increase in the cost of fuel raise the wholesale costs.
At the same time, the president of GENOP PPC noted that energy costs in Greece have increased, something that was unexpected for consumers, while he reckoned that these price increases will not be solved with the measures announced by the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
For HEDNO
Regarding the privatization of HEDNO, Mr. Adamidis stressed that the structures and activities should remain under state control.
