Hilton and Theodoros Douzoglou’s real estate investment group SCD LTD today confirmed plans to open two hotels in Athens, as part of a management agreement with SCD Group LTD subsidiaries.
The historic Pentelikon, of the Curio collection from Hilton, an 117-room hotel in the luxurious northern suburb of Kifissia, will be the first hotel of the Curio Collection by Hilton in mainland Greece when it opens in 2024. The Hampton by Hilton Piraeus Mikrolimano, 83-room hotel which opens in the popular port of Piraeus, will be the first Greek property of Hampton by Hilton.

Pentelikon Athens, Curio Collection by Hilton
At the well-known Pentelikon Hotel, the SCD group will invest 18 million euros in the renovation of its facilities in view of the rebranding under the Hilton Curio collection, upgrading the hotel services and restoring its unique shine. In the global portfolio of more than 100 unique hotels and resorts under the name Curio, the 117 rooms of Pentelikon will be added which will include 13 elegant suites, and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the luxurious facilities and services of the hotel. With a fully equipped gym, four spa treatments and an indoor and outdoor pool, guests can relax and unwind all year round.
A short distance from the center of Athens, but also from important sights such as the Goulandris Museum of Natural History and the Syggrou Forest, Pentelikon is expected to be an attraction for international and domestic visitors. One of the advantages of the area is also the fact that it hosts many international headquarters, making it a hotspot for business trips. With 1,300 square meters of facilities for conferences and events, which will include three meeting rooms, Pentelikon will be well equipped to host from small meetings to larger conferences for professionals abroad and employees in Kifissia.

Hampton by Hilton Piraeus Mikrolimano will be located in Kastella, the jewel of Piraeus famous for its neoclassical architecture, near the marina of Mikrolimano with stunning views of the port. Following a € 5.5 million renovation by the SCD Group, Hampton by Hilton Piraeus Mikrolimano will offer the internationally recognized and high quality hospitality of Hampton by Hilton hotels.
