Iran’s state media broadcast videos with scenes from the seizure of Greek tankers in the Persian Gulf, according to relevant posts circulating on social media. According to what the specific posts show, the operation is seen frame by frame, with the armed men disembarking from helicopters on the deck of the ships and invading the bridge.

The Delta Poseidon has a crew of 25, including two Greeks, and the Prudent Warrior has a crew of 23, including 8 Greeks and a Cypriot.
Both the Delta Poseidon and the Prudent Warrior were seized by Revolutionary Guards, with the Greek Ministry of Shipping saying crew members are in good health.
According to ministry sources, the Prudent Warrior is anchored in the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, while the Delta Poseidon remains at the same location in the Persian Gulf.
US message
Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken strongly condemned the seizure of Greek-owned ships by Iran. “Continued harassment of vessels by Iran and interference with the rights and freedoms of navigation pose a threat to maritime safety and the global economy,” he said.
Blinken also said the United States was standing by its NATO ally “in the face of this unjustified seizure.”
