Direct flights from Toronto, Montreal to Athens this season

Direct flights connecting Toronto and Montreal with Athens were inaugurated by Air Canada on March 28, with the scheduled to continue until late October, and the possibility of an extension until November 2023.

Another Canadian carrier, Air Transat, will fly between the same two cities and Athens’ Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport of Athens from May and October this season.

The welcome news for travelers going from Greece and Canada was highlighted on Friday during a meeting in Athens between Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias and the Canadian ambassador to the country, Anna-Karine Asselin.
