A total of 25,610 Greeks citizens living abroad have registered to vote from their place of residence on Saturday (June 24), one day ahead of a repeat ballot in the country, the ministry of the interior announced on Monday.

A total of 22,855 Greek citizens had registered to vote in the previous May 21 general election, of which 18,203 actually voted (a turnout of 79.5 percent).

One-hundred and two election stations will be set up in 35 countries. At least 40 voters must register in a specific region for a polling station to be set up.
