A large fire is in progress that broke out in the early hours of Monday in Fygias Karystos in Evia, while through 112 an order was given for the preventive evacuation of the settlements of Kokkini and the Doctors’ Building Cooperative. According to the Fire Brigade, 46 firefighters are currently operating at the scene with 20 vehicles, 1 group of fire fighters on foot, while 3 aircraft and 2 helicopters are assisting from the air to extinguish the fire.
