Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi on Wednesday evening, during a press briefing on the sidelines of the Cairo-sponsored World Youth Forum in Sharm el-Sheikh resort, said his government remains committed to a bilateral agreement with Greece regarding the delimitation of waters in the east Mediterranean.
In a curt response to a press question citing statements by Turkish FM Mevlut Cavusoglu last week, the Egyptian president merely added that Egypt is a country that’s committed to international conventions, an indirect reference to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea.
