The burden on refineries from rising electricity prices is enormous.
Hellenic Petroleum CEO Andreas Siamishis spoke for the first time about the effects of current price increases on refineries.
As he said during a discussion at the Delphi Economic Forum, “HELPE refineries during the energy crisis have borne an additional cost of 250 million euros.”
He said that “we do not pass this burden on to consumers. And it’s right for society but wrong for business. How long will we absorb these costs? ” he wondered.
The CEO of HELPE also described the objectives of VISION 2025 of the strategic plan of the corporate and energy transformation of the group.
