Mr. Pierrakakis listened to the proposals and positions of the Chamber and pledged to support the sector’s fair demands. In his short statement he emphasized that “spending some time with the new Board of Directors of the Athens Chamber of Commerce, I was very happy to find that the commercial world of Athens has become fully familiar with the digital services of the Greek State and is benefiting from the technological and financial tools for Small and Medium Enterprises Businesses. Digital transformation only benefits SMEs and empowers entrepreneurship. From our side, we will continue to support SMEs, which are the backbone of our country’s economy.”

We had the opportunity to convey the anguish of the struggling commercial world to a Minister who leaves an indelible mark with his work. The digitization of the state was a demand and a need of society. Its completion and the modernization of businesses is a goal of utmost importance for the real economy, the development of the country and the creation of opportunities for our children”.
