The 7th Greek participation in the International Exhibition of Food and Beverages with direct sales, FOOD & LIFE 2022, which took place on 30.11.–04.12.2022 in Munich and was organized by the Munich Exhibition Organization, featured 34 Greek producers The participation of Greece and Cyprus was organized by the Greek-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Greek producers presented to the German public a wide range of goods, from traditional Greek products such as: olive oil, olives, cheeses, sausages, honey, jams, pasta, herbs, wine, ouzo, and tsipouro, to smoked trout, smoked meat, beer, new soft drinks, donkey milk products, etc., leaving the best impressions both for the quality of their products and for their neat and beautiful packaging.
During the days of the exhibition, the Greek participation was visited by the Consul General of Greece in Munich, Dr. Vasilios Goulousis, as well as the Office of O.E.Y. of Munich with the head, Mrs. Rhea Tsitsanis and the commercial followers, Mr. Georgios Lymberis and Georgios Mehteridis, who talked to all the exhibitors and analyzed the peculiarities of the German market as well as the conditions for penetrating it, according to a relevant information.
In parallel with the presence of the Greek Group Pavilion at the exhibition, in collaboration with the Hellenic-Bavarian Community, at the Haar Poststadl Municipality Cultural Center, B2B- Meetings between Greek exhibitors and German trade representatives, importers, delicatessens, restaurants and food sector businesses took place, with the aim of entering into commercial partnerships.
It is noted that the Greek Group Pavilion is organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber member company, K.L.Ni. Promotion, with the support of the Chamber and the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food.
In particular, the Attica Region took part with 7 producers, the Epirus Region with 18 producers and the Central Hellas Region with 8 producers took part in the Greek Group Pavilion, which occupied a total of 208 sq.m. of the exhibition space.
According to the official data of the organizers, at FOOD & LIFE 2022, 200 exhibitors took part and more than 70,500 visitors visited it.
