Greece’s Cap Market Commission Oks public offer prospectus by Costamare

Hellenic Capital Market Commission’s (HCMC) board of directors on Wednesday approved of the public offer prospectus of Costamare Participations Plc for trading of
of dematerialized, common, bearer bonds on the Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEX), with the issuance of a common bond loan and the guarantee by Costamare Inc.

Costamare, controlled by the Constantakopoulos family, has been listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 2010, with its share value is estimated at $1.27 billion USD.

The public offering is expected next week.

The company controls 82 large container vessels. It is is first major shipping company to issue bonds via the Greek market.
