The vehicle was part of a convoy of 20 cars carrying 82 people: Greek citizens, journalists, technicians and staff of the Greek consulate in Mariupol.
The convoy finally made it to Zaporizhia, on the Dnieper River, where travelers will remain overnight. The goal is to reach the border with either Romania or Moldova.
Mariupol is now reportedly surrounding by invading Russian troops.
