A new order in the Korean shipyards of Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co was placed by Aristidis Pittas’ Euroseas for the construction of two very fuel efficient -eco design feeder containerships with a carrying capacity of 2,800 teu each.
The two ships will be received during the fourth quarter of 2024, while the total cost of construction will amount to $ 86 million and will be covered by bank lending and equity.
Euroseas has recently placed orders for four containerships with a capacity of 2,800 teu each and three 1,800 teu each.
