The 2022 Posidonia maritime exhibition, the first since 2018, recorded a record in terms of visitors this month, with more than 27,000 people passing through the gates of the Athens Metropolitan Expo, beating the previous figure by roughly 4,000.
The last Posidonia, one of the world’s pre-eminent maritime exhibitions, took place four years ago, as the 2020 event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Exhibitor’s space increased by 7 percent, compared to 2018; up by 18 percent in terms of visitors.
According to Posidonia’s management, this year’s exhibition was the most successful and innovative ever.
