Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias spoke by phone with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry on Monday afternoon, hours after the latest Turkish provocation entailed in an agreement, with the provisional government in Tripoli, to exploit illegally staked waters in the east Mediterranean.
Both sides, Athens and Cairo, disputed the legitimacy of the interim Libyan government to sign the unannounced MoU.
Dendias will also travel to Cairo on Sunday for further.
Additionally, the Greek FM will brief the US ambassador in Athens this evening
