Another five-star resort along the so-called «Athenian Riviera», the stretch of coastline extending from the Neo Faliro district southeast all the way to Cape Sounion, is expected to open its doors in the summer of 2023.
According to the president and CEO of Athens-based Grivalia Hospitality, George Chryssikos, who spoke at the 23rd Prodexpo conference in the Greek capital, the new Asteria Resort in Glyfada will be an «ultra luxury» facility, a level of quality previously lacking in Greece, as he added.
«That’s why created this company, in order to bring these brands here», he said, while adding that layers of proverbial Greek «red tape» still plague these types of investments.
