Drivers in Greece will be able to access their traffic offence information and alerts at a touch of a button on Gov.gr Wallet.
The Gov.gr Wallet is a digital service provided by the Greek government for managing documents, IDs, or other official credentials.
The data includes traffic convictions, driver’s license suspension, reckless driving convictions and other moving violations recorded in the last five years by the “Driver Behavior Control System” (SESO).
A new category “SESO Violations” has been added to the wallet as well as penalty points for violations. The wallet already includes access to Greek identity card, driver’s license, digital disability card, digital unemployment card, Athens ring road permit, vehicle details, academic ID, speed boat license, public insurance number, and pet registration data.
The project is designed and implemented jointly by the Greek Transport Ministry, the General Secretariat of Information Systems, and the Digital Governance Ministry’s GRNET – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology.
The Gov.gr Wallet application can be downloaded through the App Store or Google Play as well as through wallet.gov.gr.
