Under the auspices of the ship-owning company, the passengers of the ship “Prevelis” that crashed this morning into the port of Athinios in Santorini will be forwarded to their destinations, without any injuries or inflow of water being reported.
Officials of the Port Authority of Santorini found abrasions on the right stern side of the ship, while with the assistance of a private diver, the four fins of the right propeller were cut, resulting in the temporary prohibition of its departure until the presentation of a certificate that guarantees that necessary repairs have been carried out.
The said ship sailed to the port of Thira with 193 passengers, 35 trucks, 38 passenger vehicles and nine two-wheelers. From the above passengers, 74 passengers, 21 trucks, nine private cars and three two-wheelers disembarked at the port of Athinios.
There are 88 passengers on board destined for the ports of Heraklion and Anafi, who will be forwarded to their destination by other ships, while the remaining 31 will be forwarded to their destinations with the care of the ship-owning company.
