The number of registered unemployed people in Greece last month, December 2021, totaled nearly 1.110 million people, higher by 1.68 percent compared to the previous month, November.
The number of residents in the country is roughly 11 million.
Nevertheless, the same figure was higher in December 2020, with the number of registered jobless individuals was slightly more than 1.181, down -6.09 percent, according to the Manpower Employment Organization (OAED).
Of the figure for last month, 579,400 individuals (52.67 percent) have been registered as unemployed for a period longer than 12 months.
