Approaching the threshold of one million to the fixed broadband landline customers, Vodafone Greece recorded in the period April – December 2021 the highest performance of all time. However, it also set a historical record in data consumption, according to the financial results published today by the Vodafone group.
Specifically, the income from services in the 9 months of the financial year of the group amounted to 650 million euros, increased by 3% compared to the corresponding period last year, following the trend of the Group, which showed an increase of 2.7% in Europe and Africa. The mobile base in the third quarter exceeded 4.2 million customers and increased by 2.9%. The percentage of contract customers remained stable at 39%, while an additional 59,000 customers were added to the prepaid company, a development which, according to the group’s analysis, is attributed to the easing of restrictive measures in travel.
With broadband customers steady, thanks to the expansion of its customer base by 8,000 connections, Vodafone recorded a record high, retaining more than 970,000 customers and is now on the verge of 1 million.
In addition, Vodafone customers consumed over 120,000 TB in the first 9 months, a performance increased by 41% compared to the same period last year, which is, in fact, a record for the company.
The average revenue per user (ARPU) in the 3rd quarter of the financial year remained relatively stable at 10.5 euros and in contracts amounted to 18.4 euros, while in prepaid goods to 5.3 euros, a trend that documents, according to the company, stability prices, in a period of rapid price increase in many products and services of the Greek market.
