
The group of companies Globalsat – Teleunicom completed the process for obtaining an electricity trading license, acquiring the possibility of entering the electricity retail market in Greece.
Specifically, the Energy Regulatory Authority (RAE), issued a few weeks ago, its decision to grant a license to trade 100MW of electricity, to the Teleunicom group, for a total duration of 20 years, until 2042, as provided by the relevant legislation, completing the first step for the company to enter the electricity market, as mentioned in a relevant announcement.
Obtaining a license for electricity trading is part of the company’s strategic plan to expand its activities in new sectors, with the aim of further development of the company in the Greek market, utilizing its know-how and dynamics in marketing, distribution and operation of sales networks.
