
The three newly built “Aero Highspeed” catamarans of Hellenic Seaways, built at the Brødrene Aa shipyards in Norway, have been in the port of Piraeus since yesterday.
Attica Group’s state-of-the-art high speed vessels were transported to Greek waters by the Heavy Load Carrier “Rolldock Sky” and are expected to cover the connections of Piraeus with Aegina, Agistri, Poros, Hydra, Spetses, Ermioni and Porto Heli with up to 17 daily routes, with the company even planning to more than double the frequency on the line to Aegina and Agistri.

The goal for Argosaronicos
Attica Group’s goal is to increase passenger traffic on the Argosaronic Sea by 25%, i.e. by approximately 1.3 million travelers.
It is noted that the transport of the vessels was organized by Golden Cargo, of the Golden Union group, a company specializing in the global shipping industry, a partner of the Attica group for over 10 years, offering logistics services to all the group’s activities.

The ships have a maximum speed of 32.2 knots fully loaded, an overall length of 36 meters, a beam of 9.7 meters and a carrying capacity of 150 passengers. The interior layout and in general the innovative design aims to offer passengers high-level services, such as comfortable travel even in choppy conditions, spacious passenger spaces, space for transporting bicycles, high-standard space for transporting pets.
