The 28-year-old goalkeeper of Benfica, the 26-year-old defender of Liverpool and the 24-year-old defender of Stuttgart are priced, according to the specialist website transfermarkt, which presented the 500 most valuable players in the world, at 15 million euros, but are not in the Top- 500, since the… cheapest players in this list, have an estimated value of 18 million euros.
Of the 11 most expensive Greeks, only two compete in the Greek league. These are Masouras and Bouchalakis, both at Olympiakos.

James Rodriguez tops the list in Greece
The 31-year-old, international with Colombia, striker James Rodríguez and the 24-year-old defensive midfielder Diade Samasekou, international with Mali, both Olympiacos players, with an estimated value of 13 million euros, are the most expensive footballers playing in the Greek Super League.
Pape Abou Cisse (Olympic/Senegal) and Djibril Sitibe (AEK/France) follow with 8 million euros.
Kylian Mbappe most expensive player globally
Paris Saint-Germain’s 23-year-old French international striker Kylian Mbappe is the world’s most expensive player with an estimated value of €160 million, followed by Manchester City’s Norwegian international striker Erling Haaland at €150 million. The podium is “closed” by the 22-year-old international Brazilian striker of Real Madrid Brazil, Vinicius Junior with an estimated value of 120 million euros.
The most expensive goalkeeper is Thibi Courtois (Belgium / Real Madrid) with an estimated value of 60 million euros, the most expensive defender is Trent Alexander-Arnold (England / Liverpool) with 80 million euros and the most expensive midfielder is Bruno Fernandes (Portugal / Manchester City) with 85 million euros.
