The Greek central government cash balance posted a deficit of 1.920 billion euros in the January-May 2023 period, compared to a deficit of 4.994 billion euros in the corresponding period of 2022, the Bank of Greece announced on Friday.
During the first five-month period of the year, ordinary budget revenues amounted to 23.117 billion euros, compared to 19.924 billion euros in the corresponding period of last year. Ordinary budget expenditures reached to 24.629 billion euros, slightly up from 24.569 billion euros in January-May 2022 period.
