Public Power Company (PPC), the dominant electricity utility in Greece, has installed 14 e-vehicle charging points at the Eleftherios Venizelos Athens International Airport (AIA). The infrastructure was installed by PPC subsidiary DEI-Blue.
The development marks the first time that a fully-fledged charging hub has been installed at a Greek airport, with AIA being the largest facility in the country.
Specifically, the following units are found in AIA’s short-term parking 1:
– 5 dual chargers at 22 kW of AC each
– 1 Supercharger at 120 kW DC (or 2 x 60 kW DC)
– 1 Supercharger at 50 kW DC and 22 kW AC.
