Turkish belligerence in the eastern Aegean has added another parameter of late, namely, the use of UAVs to violate Greek airspace and even to conduct flyovers of islets, with another instance reported on Thursday.
Specifically, a Turkish UAV was detected flying over the islet of Kandeliousa, west of populated Nisyros. The violating craft was detected at 17.51 (15.51 GMT) flying at roughly 19,000 feet.
A similar incident with a UAV took place at the same region on Jan. 3.
