The deposit of € 353,293.80 for the fire victims by Unboxholics was completed with unimaginable success.
The amount of 353,000 euros collected from the “marathon” organized by Unboxholics for the fire victims was deposited.
Unboxholics, a group of gamers and gadget loving youths, organized the “marathon” for the fire victims and while initially the goal was 200,000 euros, they managed with the help of the people, of course, to raise about 350,000 euros.
Sakis Karpas from Unboxholics informed in a post that the money was deposited, uploading the relevant receipts.
In fact, he wrote:
“I will start with a big thank you! The action that took place last Friday (6/8/2021) for the financial support of the fire victims in North Evia, Attica, Patras, Rhodes, Ancient Olympia is not an action that should be reaped only by Unboxholics, but the essence belongs to people who supported it.
On behalf of our entire team, thank you very much, all of you who deposited your 1 or 10,000 euros for this purpose!
Thanks to all the influential names on social media, from YouTubers and Instagrammers, to websites and groups on Facebook!
Without them, the result would not be the same! In these moments we realize that we can unite and that at the end of the day, “we have each other”…
From there on, the amount collected from the donations of the people to PayPal and Paysafe, through our Donate platform, reaches the fantastic number of € 353,293.80!
This money, as we have already announced, was deposited in the special account opened by the HellenicRed Cross.
In addition to the written and stamped assurances that this money will be used FULLY and EXCLUSIVELY to support the residents of the fire-affected areas, the Hellenic Red Cross informed us that the process will be done in full transparency, through the Cash Transfer Program, for which in the future we will be able to request written and certified reports.
All this after the recording of the damages by the social services, of course.
In this post you will find photos from the receipt of the deposit of money from the personal account of Sakis Karpas (Athanasios Karpas), to the special support account of the Hellenic Red Cross, signed and stamped by the executives of the Eurobank branch in Aridea (Prefecture of Pella). In addition, you will find the official letter of the president of the Hellenic Red Cross.
HOWEVER
Because a photo on the Internet says nothing and because we live in strange times, we inform that ALL the supporting documents and specifically:
Analytically one by one the personal deposits to PayPal.
Transfers from PayPal to Bank.
Paysafe card emails.
Transfers from Paysafe accounts to the Bank.
All e-mails with our applications to the Hellenic Red Cross.
The thanks and the assurance of the Hellenic Red Cross to Unboxholics.
[All these documents] will be available for control and confirmation of their validity, in a special file, in COMMON VIEW, at the accounting office “Nikolaos Ouzas” (Miaouli 20, 58400 Aridea Pella), which represents us.
Anyone, therefore, who wants to make sure that the process was done properly, can visit this office and gladly ask to see the documents and proof of everything!
For us this chapter closes today.
We send our best wishes and our full support to the people who lost people, pets, animals, property and so much more.
If we can help restore all of this in the future and in any way, we will be by their side!
Good luck to your summer and we say goodbye again with an EPIC program and surprises from September!
Yours sincerely,
The Unboxholics team “.
