Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis spoke by phone on Friday with the President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda, following an initiative by the latter’s office, and with the focus of the conversation touching on the holding of an informal European Council meeting on March 10 and 11 to focus on Ukraine.
Both leaders discussed collective measures taken to date by the EU to support the Ukrainian people, as well as dealing with Russian aggressiveness.
The need for a further coordination by EU member-states on the issue was also stressed.
