The Greek government late Friday evening tabled a draft bill comprised of urgent measures aimed to contain skyrocketing electricity prices and ensure supplies of natural gas.
The draft legislation was submitted an hour before midnight and without previous notification or a press release.
The bill envisions mostly price ceilings on wholesale and retail next-day rates.
In terms of natural gas, the bill includes a provision to lease floating LNG tanks.
