We try to manage the past, present, and future of Skyros and for this reason, we are careful, sensitive, and responsible towards issues related to tradition, architecture, our natural resources, our ship, the only popular base means of transport, and every legacy that was handed down to us,” said Mr. Eugenikos.
Regarding the comparative advantages of the island, the person in charge of tourism, underlined that “our visitors talk about the security they feel, about the good and economical transport, as well as about the economic accommodation and the catering, the high quality gastronomy – as we have flawless raw materials such as honey, cheese, meat and fish, all products of traditional production methods. The many and varied places – after all our beaches are the main reason why our visitors come – with a few organized beaches, as well as for the mild night life, which means less noise.”
