A top public health official in Greece on Thursday announced that citizens over the age of 50 with underlying health conditions or in “at-risk” groups will be able to schedule a third Covid-19 vaccination after Oct. 9.
The measure affects roughly 100,000 people in Greece at present. Another condition is that six months must have passed since an individual’s vaccination with a second dose.
The decision was announced by the general secretary for primary healthcare, Marios Themistocleous.
