The fifth in a row criminal prosecution against a Greek actor in the context of the #metoo movement was brought by the prosecutor of the first instance, Costas Spyropoulos, who has shouldered the burden of all these investigations.
The prosecution this time is directed against a well-known actor who is accused of serial rape, continuous and not, committed and in an attempt, which concerns four women who have reported his action in court.
According to information, the prosecutor’s order, however, has archived four acts that have also been denounced by the victims.
However, what burdened the prosecution, according to the same information, are the activities of the accused over a long period which is said to start in 2008 and extend until 2015, but also the plethora of complaints against him.
In fact, apart from the cases for which the prosecution was brought, there are also testimonies of other women (4-5) who have reported him for abusive action.
As part of the preliminary examination, the actor denied, with his written explanations, what was attributed to him and claimed that the complainants had fallen in love with him.
However, a new round of testimonies of the victims who insisted on their initial testimonies followed.
The case was assigned to an investigator who is expected to interrogate the accused actor.
