Impressive recovery of demand for “Greece” after the first shock of the war in Ukraine, as noted by leading hotel agents in the country.
Google data confirms these trends. Characteristically, the honorary president of the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises (SETE) Mr. Andreas Andreadis, after attaching to Google twitter data on travel demand to Greece, from the United Kingdom and Germany to Greece, points out: “After the shock of the invasion of Ukraine, demand for Greece is recovering impressively. Given the loss of the Russian market, which will be covered by other markets. “Tourist revenues are visible close to the levels of 2019. If we succeed, it will be a great success for the country.”
It is recalled that a few days ago, as ot.gr wrote, an analysis by Hotelwize, pointed out that the mixed feelings of the first days of the war, gave way to optimistic messages, as the increase of tourist interest for our country in the last ten days is more than clear.
Primarily important markets for Greece such as Germany, the United Kingdom, the USA, France and Italy, while in the first ten days after the start of the war, there was a negative sign in terms of demand and tourist interest in general for Greece in then they came back and lately they show a significant positive increase.
