An increase of 20.2% was recorded on a monthly basis in March, General Index of Turnover in Retail Trade, while compared to the corresponding index of February 2022, it increased by 5.6%.
According to the data announced today by ELSTAT, the General Volume Index (turnover at constant prices), in March 2022, compared to the corresponding index of March 2021, showed an increase of 12.3% and compared to the corresponding February 2022 index increase of 2.3%.
The seasonally adjusted General Turnover Index, in March 2022, compared to the corresponding index of February 2022 showed an increase of 2.7%.
The seasonally adjusted General Volume Index, in March 2022, compared to the corresponding index of February 2022, showed an increase of 1.8%.
