Greek drivers are now more positive about electric cars

Greek drivers are looking at electric cars in a more positive light, according to the new nationwide survey by Focus Bari | YouGov.

Compared to a corresponding survey of 2021, it found that:

  • The number of Greek drivers who are thinking of an electric or hybrid car for their next purchase is increasing
  • They themselves admit that compared to a year ago, they know much more about electric cars, as well as the relevant state subsidies, while at the same time…
  • Their view of e-mobility is also improving
  • However, while among the key benefits of electric cars are environmental protection and better investment,…
  • High purchase costs and supply concerns remain disadvantages, as does the unclear landscape of financial incentives / subsidies.
  • Nevertheless, more than one in two Greek drivers believe that electric propulsion is the future of the automotive industry, with Tesla at the helm, followed by Toyota and the big German brands.
