Government spokesperson, Yiannis Oikonomou, referred to the Agreement with Egypt for the seasonal employment of land workers in Greece, in a post on Twitter.

Specifically, Mr. Oikonomou stated: “An Agreement was signed for the first time at a diplomatic level which provides for the entry and residence in Greece of a workforce of 5,000 land workers, from the Arab Republic of Egypt, for the purpose of seasonal employment in the agricultural sector” .
