According to information, the employers’ agenda is quite demanding. And they even set a deadline for the implementation of the respective policies they are asking for. Mr. Papalexopoulos will convey the message that “whatever needs to be done should be done in 12 to 18 months”.

1. Drastic reduction of bureaucracy in the operation of businesses through the rapid simplification of the business environment.
2. Special licensing approval procedures for large productive investments.
3. Tax incentives for business investments.
4. Modern framework of labor rules
5. Tackling energy costs.
Additionally high on the agenda of the industrialists are the reforms in the Justice with the aim of speedy adjudication of cases that primarily concern any disputes between businesses and the state.
Assessment
However, within the industry and especially SEV, the placement of Mr. Hatzidakis at the economy ministry, spread a wind of optimism, as the information says.
The management of the Association particularly appreciates the minister as ideologically as well as from his work in the productive ministries he left a developmental mark, especially in the field of reforms and denationalization. So SEV considers that there is a common language, a common code of communication.
