Two new cases of tax evasion were detected by the auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE).

Tax authority shuts down and fines well-known clubs in Santorini and Athens Riviera

In a well-known club on the coastal avenue, in Alimos, during a performance by a well-known singer, it was found that 15 receipts, with a total value of 605 euros, had not been issued. The business was locked down for 48 hours.

In Santorini, in a famous club, located inside a hotel, the auditors found that 3,726 receipts, worth 355,000 euros, had not been issued! Since it is a business that operates within a hotel unit, the fine was imposed, which is proportional, without the 48-hour lockdown, while an additional monetary penalty is foreseen, once the audit of the club’s fiscal behavior is completed.
