Mudslides cause interruption of traffic on Athens-Patras tollway

Heavy rainfall late Monday afternoon caused mudslides on a section of the main Athens-Patras tollway running along the breadth of the northern Peloponnese province, according to the Olympia Odos company, which holds the concession for the specific roadway.

Traffic was blocked at a point some 15 kilometers from the Eleonas toll station, near the coastal city of Egio.
