MSC Cruises, after having designated the port of Piraeus, the biggest and largest in Greece, as the home port for its MSC Lirica vessel, along with the inaugural implementation of its “Stay & Cruise” program in Greece, will debut its MSC Musica for east Med cruises in 2023.
MSC will field four cruise-ships plying Greek waters this season, with all passengers above the age of 12 required to have received three Covid-19 vaccinations.
MSC Lirica will feature an itinerary within seven overnight stays, with 28 voyages between April and October 2022 beginning from Piraeus, and stops in Kusadasi, Turkey, Haifa, Israel, Limassol, Cyprus and the Greek islands of Rhodes and Santorini, before returning to Piraeus.
According to MSC Cruises executive director Angelo Capurro, “we’re looking ahead, to the 2023 season and summer, we’re increasing our capacity with an even bigger ship, the MSC Musica, in order to meet the popularity and attractiveness of this unbelievable region, where one can enjoy even more with the holiday experience offered by a cruiseship.”
