The new offices of KPMG will be located in the bioclimatic building The Wave, owned by PRODEA, located on 44 Syngrou Avenue, in Athens, as provided for in the agreement signed by KPMG in Greece and PRODEA Investments.
Design and sustainability
The Wave is a 5,500 sq m office building, which is being completely renovated in accordance with the latest trends in sustainability and technology, as indicated in the relevant announcement. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2022 and certified for its bioclimatic features according to LEED Gold, providing optimal working conditions and energy savings. The new facade of the building, designed by the architectural team of Tsolakis Architects, is inspired by the perpetual mobility of Syngrou Avenue which translated into a wave movement and simultaneous shading and gave the building its name, “The Wave”.
Emblematic business venue overlooking the Acropolis
The building is located in the wider area of the business center of Athens, a stone’s throw from the Acropolis Museum and Dionysios Aeropagitou and is served by two metro stations, trams and other means of public transport.
A unique space will be created for use by the staff, but also for company events, on the planted roof, with a view of the Acropolis, the sea and the urban landscape of Athens.
