Piraeus Port Authority to distribute 1.04-euro per share dividend

The Piraeus Port Authority (PPA), which owns and manages the biggest and busiest port in Greece, will distribute a 1.04-euro per share dividend, following a decision of a regular general assembly of shareholders.

Chinese multinational Cosco holds a majority stake of the specific port authorities and retains its management.

The dividend is higher, by 65.6 percent, compared to 2021.

In commenting on the port authority’s 2022 results, PPA President Yu Zenggang referred to a “historic high performances”.

Turnover reached 194.6 million euros in 2022, up by 26.2 percent, yoy, while pre-tax profits totaled 74.7 million euros, up by 51.7 percent. After-tax profits reached 52.9 million euros in 2022, an increase of 43.9 percent from 2021 results.
