Nova and Wind Hellas, both members of the United Group, announced their joint decision to merge and assume the name Nova upon completion of the merger. The merger is expected to be completed by the end of the year, while the two subsidiaries have already been unified under a common management team.
According to the official announcement “upon completion of the merger, the new corporate entity, under the name Nova, will be the second largest provider of fixed and pay TV in Greece”. The new era for Nova will culminate in an investment plan of 1.3 billion euros over the next few years. The investment program includes the expansion of the fiber optic network to homes (Fiber to Home) and the nationwide coverage of the 5G network.
