Iktinos is looking for new customers and markets abroad to channel Greek marble.
From October 3 to 6, company executives were in Paris, at the international Batimat exhibition at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles exhibition center. The company presented all the marbles that it quarries and exports to more than 90 countries.
Through the exhibition, Iktinos aimed to further penetrate the markets of France and the countries of the wider region, as well as to expand its exports to the French-speaking countries of sub-Saharan Africa, using France’s penetration in the region as a vehicle.
During the exhibition 60 visitors from 18 different countries (mainly European and African) showed serious interest in Greek marbles.

Most of the visitors were builders, architects and interior designers. Discussions about a hotel unit and a complex of 56 villas in African countries stood out among contacts in Paris, as well as a deal for an ultra-luxury villa in the French Riviera.
The next participation of Iktinos to further strengthen its extroversion will be at the “BIG 5 DUBAI” exhibition, December 5 to 8, aiming to strengthen relations with already existing customers, both in the United Arab Emirates and in the neighboring countries (Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia), but also meeting new prospects. This particular market is particularly dynamic and its need for marble is mainly for large projects, such as towers, mosques and private villa complexes.
