The Greek prime minister’s office on Monday announced Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ schedule for the next day, Tuesday, with a virtual Cabinet meeting – replete with presentations of draft legislation and briefings by a half dozen ministers – dominating the itinerary.
The announcement comes amid increased media reports over the past week pointing to a Cabinet reshuffle, by some accounts expected to be “large-scale”, and with the most prominent date for announcement being Monday – which came and went without any such announcement.
Among the highlights of Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting will be a briefing by the relevant State Deputy Minister to the prime minister on the course of restoration efforts for this summer’s wildfire-ravaged areas in the country.
